Mount Abu, in south west Rajasthan, is 4 hours away from Ahmedabad by road, a 3 hour drive from Udaipur and a 6 hour drive from Jodhpur. Abu Road, the township at the foothills of Mount Abu, is well connected to nearby cities, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Delhi by train. Delhi - Abu Road or Mumbai - Abu Road is approximately an overnight train journey. Mount Abu is about one hours drive from the railway station at Abu Road.
