CME for medical professionals working in the government sector
We organised a CME on the subject Disorder of the Upper Abdomen at the Reodar primary health centre (PHC) on November 4. This was a novel initiative for
medical officers and nurses working in the government sector. In addition to sharing medical information, the CME was aimed at creating awareness about the medical facilities available at the units of the Global Hospital & Research Centre trust at Mount Abu and Abu Road. In all, 8 doctors and 46 nurses attended the programme.
Dr Dilip Kothari, consultant general and laparoscopic surgeon at J Watumull Global Hospital & Research Centre (Mount Abu) conducted the programme. Afterwards, Dr Kothari visited a few local GPs to strengthen our referral system.
