Ongoing flood relief work in Karnataka
Thursday, October 15 - Bommanagi village in district Bagalkot, Karnataka was severely affected by flooding, with more than 70 percent of its houses collapsing due to the flood waters. The team served 210 villagers, distributing free
medicines and blankets to poor patients.

Friday, October 16 - The focus was Kovalli village in Bilagi taluka in district Bagalkot. The medical officer from the local primary health centre (PHC) joined the Global Hospital team, which served and distributed free medicines to 95 patients as well as distributed blankets to the poor. On the same day, the team visited Birnur village in Badami taluka in Bagalkot district, again an area severely affected by flooding from the river Malaprabha with close to three-fourths of its houses damaged. The team attended 220 patients in this village.
