Visit to Mauritius

During a visit to Mauritius in July, medical officer incharge, G V Modi Rural Health Care Centre, Abu Road, Dr Mahesh Hemdari had the opportunity to address a large number of senior citizens and younger people on the need to age gracefully. These occasions included speaking at a conference on "Ageing Gracefully" organised by the Ministry of Social Security and National Solidarity and Senior Citizens Welfare & Reform Institutions, addressing staff members of the aforesaid ministry as well as a visit to Gaya Ashram, an old age peoples home.
