Health check-up programme
The Brigadier Vora Clinic & Jyoti Bindu Diagnostic Centre arranged a diagnosis and consultation camp for heart diseases, hypertension and diabetes on July 19. Volunteer consultants Dr Mahesh Basarge, cardiologist, Baroda Heart Institute, Dr Sunilbhai Maniar, senior consultant physician, Shreya Nursing Home, Dr Jaiminbhai B Shah, senior consultant physician, Yogini Vasantidevi Hospital proffered advice to 
83 patients in all, which included 68 diabetes patients, 39 cardiac patient and 62 patients of hypertension. Every aspect of the programme was a collaborative effort. A laboratory team from pharma major Glaxo conducted blood glucose diagnosis for no charge. Members of the Brahma Kumaris of Baroda donated medicines to distribute to ailing patients. Staff members sisters Rujuta and Jyotsana conducted ECGs, also for no charge.
